Supermanage makes 1-on-1 prep easier than ever
Once you’ve installed Supermanage in Slack, you can use the app with message buttons or slash commands 🌐
You can create a snapshot for anyone on your team from any channel in your Slack workspace.
Supermanage only uses the channels you select to create your snapshots.
To get the best snapshot results from Supermanage, it’s important to complete each user’s profile.
How to create a snapshot:
With a slash command
Type:
/supermanage snapshot @user
Press “Enter”
From the Supermanage menu
Type:
/supermanage
, then press “Enter”Click “Create Snapshot”
Select a user from the dropdown, then click “Create”
How to set up your default channels list:
With a slash command
Type:
/supermanage channels set
Add all channels you want included in your snapshots. For example:
/supermanage channels set #general #marketing #product #calendar #engineering
Press “Enter”
ℹ️ Note that this slash command only allows you to add channels to your default list. To remove them, follow the instructions below.
From the Supermanage menu
Type:
/supermanage
, then press “Enter”Click “Manage Settings”
Go to “Default Channel List”
To add channels, select from the dropdown or type the channel name
To remove channels, click “X” next to the channel name
Click “Save”

Edit a user’s profile info
There are two bits of information Supermanage asks for about each of your teammates:
Their role (i.e. CTO, Program Manager, etc.)
Other helpful details (i.e. communication styles, special skills, interests, etc.)
Add or edit information in those sections, then click “Save”.

Schedule snapshots
The first time you create a snapshot for someone, Supermanage will ask you to set up recurring snapshots for that user. If you initially declined, but later decide to create a schedule (or edit an existing schedule):
Go to the user’s profile settings
Go to the schedule snapshot section
Select a snapshot frequency and the date and time when your next snapshot should be delivered
Click “Save”
You can choose between
Every Week
orEvery Two Weeks
. To opt out of a snapshot schedule, just click “No Thanks”.

Set a user’s custom channels list
Go to the user’s profile settings
Scroll down to the select channels section
To add channels, select from the dropdown or type the channel name
To remove channels, click “X” next to the channel name
Click “Save”
